Local World Class Team

Maryland Transit Connectors has an unrivalled level of understanding and commitment to deliver and operate a successful Purple Line project. Our team combines the best international P3 transit delivery and operations with a local team of contractors and designers.

In addition to building many projects along the route, including 30 projects at the University of Maryland campus in College Park, our core team members employ over 1000 residents of Montgomery and Prince George's County, reflecting the diversity and character of the expected ridership of the Purple Line. Our people are friends, neighbors and concerned citizens in the communities touched by the project. For us, the Purple Line is much more than a business opportunity. It is a very personal opportunity to be a part of a historic project that will create a more efficient transit system that will be used by our employees and their families for years to come.

Maryland Transit Connectors operates out of the national headquarters of Clark Construction in Bethesda, MD, just one block from the proposed Purple Line Bethesda station. Clark Construction has a 100+ year history of employing Marylanders to build many of the region’s most important projects.

As a neighbor, partner and stakeholder, Maryland Transit Connectors is the team that Marylanders can count on to deliver and operate this important infrastructure project.
